YINCHUAN, April 27 (Xinhua) -- Based at Ningxia University in Yinchuan,a teamis actively designing and making cultural and creative products.
The team is composed of students and faculty from various age groups including professors with years of experience in artifact research, postdoctoral researchers in the field of historical and archaeological studies, and young professionals from art and design majors.
They integrate research outcomes from fields such as culture, artifacts, and archaeology with the creative industry, sparking innovative ideas through the intersection of history and modernity.
Since its establishment in 2017, the team has developed over 400 cultural and creative products of more than 30 series based on tourist attractions and cultural heritage institutions in northwest China's Ningxia, Gansu, and Shaanxi.
They have also secured more than 100 design patents, contributing to the transformation and upgrading of the cultural tourism industry in Ningxia and its neighboring regions.
