In early November, Mr. Miao Chengchao, Vice President of the Belt and Road Local Cooperation Committee (BRLC), led a series of field visits in Hangzhou's Shangcheng District to deepen local-level cooperation and explore new avenues for engagement. Ms. Guo Weihong, Deputy Secretary-General of BRLC, participated throughout.
On November 7, the delegation visited the International Organization Cluster Center in Shangcheng, where the Sijiqing Subdistrict presented the site’s functions and development plans. Both sides held discussions on the 2025 BRLC Open Day, including preliminary arrangements and potential areas of collaboration.
On November 11, Mr. Miao and his team visited Haixing Power Technology Co., Ltd., a leading enterprise in smart energy solutions. The visit was accompanied by officials from Shangcheng District Government, the District Investment Promotion Bureau, and Qiantang Smart City.
On November 13, the delegation toured the historic urban block of Ershisan Fangxiang, where Shangcheng Cultural, Commercial and Tourism Group introduced the district’s efforts in cultural preservation and integrated development.
These visits reinforced BRLC’s commitment to fostering high-quality Belt and Road cooperation through local innovation, industrial synergy, and cultural exchange.
