On 3 December 2018, Dong Zude, the then Director of Foreign Affairs and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Hangzhou Municipal People's Government, Deputy Director Du Shigen, and Wu Lianping, Vice President of Hangzhou Municipal People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, held talks with Mr. Shen Xin, Director General of Department of European & Asian Affairs, the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC). Mr. Shen Xin fully recognized the work of the BRLC over the past year, and introduced ideas regarding cooperation on related activities in 2019.
