On November 27, UCLG ASPAC Committee on the Belt and Road Local Cooperation held its Open Day event under the theme "From Hangzhou to the World." Drawing on Hangzhou's rich cultural heritage and internationalized feature, the event invited representatives from consulates in Shanghai, chambers of commerce, international organizations, enterprises, institutions, universities, media, expatriates and international students in Hangzhou. The Open Day event starts with a cultural tour at Deshou Palace, followed by promotional exchanges at the BRLC building. The event creates a platform for cultural experience and exchange, fostering discussions about shared future aspirations.
During the event, BRLC Vice President Mr Miao Chengchao said in his welcoming speech, “Since Our Committee was established, it has adhered to the principles of “openness, cooperation, sharing, and win-win”, and has focused on an inclusive and mutually beneficial approach to attract members through an open cooperative mechanism, serving as a bridge for communication. We hope to take the Open Day event as an opportunity to raise awareness and understanding of the committee, attracting like-minded enterprises, institutions, and social organizations to join us. Together, we can explore new opportunities for cooperation, making the BRLC a bridge for making friends, discovering opportunities, and fostering collaboration."
