With the fragrance of Osmanthus blossoms filling in the air, "You@Hangzhou" Exhibition Commemorating the 4th Hangzhou International Day kicked off at Hangzhou Academy of Painting Art Gallery on October 15.

Needless to say, the spectacular moment of the opening exhibition of the 4th Hangzhou International Day was still remembered, meanwhile, it was also the critical moment of the 5th anniversary of G20 Hangzhou Summit, artworks from 12 countries are gathered together for exhibition in Hangzhou International Expo Center which located by the Qiantang River. Andrey Sklyarenko, Vice Rector and professor of Repin Institute of Arts, St. Petersburg, Russia, Andrey Bliok, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, academician of Russian Academy of Arts and professor of Repin Institute of Arts, as well as famous artists from France, Italy and other countries attended the exhibition. Artworks from He Hongzhou, Chang Qing, Zhou Gang, and Wu Dayong, all professors of China Academy of Art, also contributed to the exhibition. These high-level exhibits have brought visitors a wonderful visual feast. The artworks will later travel to Kunshan, Fuyang and other places.

The 4th Hangzhou International Day consists of the opening ceremony, the thematic exhibition and various brilliant activities. It is a special day for both local residents and international friends. Aimed at introducing excellent artworks to these audience, " You@Hangzhou " thematic exhibition was held at Hangzhou Academy of Painting Art Gallery by Hangzhou Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, Hangzhou Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles, People’s Government of Xihu District and Hangzhou People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. The exhibition has centralized oil paintings, traditional Chinese paintings, prints and other artworks created by renowned artists from China Academy of Art and Hangzhou art circles. These artists include excellent traditional Chinese painters such as Liu Jian, Zhang Zixiang and Miao Hongbo, and leading contemporary oil painters such as Cui Xiaodong, Wang Yutian, Shang Yadong, Wang Wenbin, Lai Yuan, Yin Hua and Ren Zhizhong. Eduardo Naranjo, a famous contemporary surrealistic painter from Spain, is specially invited to take part in the exhibition, too. Besides, representatives of young students from China Academy of Art also impress visitors with their works. All the artists have insisted on their artistic pursuit through constant exploration on techniques and skills, accordingly, the artworks have demonstrated aesthetic, academic, and social values. In Addition, Exquisite Han costumes showing Song Dynasty charm of Hangzhou are also exhibited at the same time.

There’s no opening ceremony due to the requirements of pandemic prevention and control. Anyone interested can visit it before October 25.
