12 Measures to Make Immigration and Entry-Exit Applications Easier and More Convenient for Foreigners by the National Immigration Administration

The National Immigration Administration has integrated policies to encourage, support and make it convenient for foreign talents, outstanding foreign youths and overseas Chinese to come to China for innovation and entrepreneurship, investment and business operation, study and work into 12 favorable policies and measures, which would become effective nationwide from 1 August 2019. These policies and measures mainly cover the following four aspects: 1. Widening the scope of foreign talents’ application for permanent residence; 2. Expanding the scope of applicants to which long-term visas and residence permits are issued; 3. Broadening the scope of foreign talents to be introduced; 4. Improving the service and management for foreigners.
